Question by : Please I need intestate estate and mortgage advice? My mother passed away without a will. She had no spouse. In New Jersey our situation would fall under an Intestate estate. My brother, Sister and I are interested in keeping the house. I know it will have to be refinanced into one of our names but my question is about the mortgage payments now.
